This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Yarlis LLC ("Yarlis", "we", "us") operates YQuant. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use our website, applications and APIs (the "Service"). Yarlis LLC is the controller of that information.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and profile image, and an identifier from the sign-in provider you use (for example Google).
- Onboarding answers: your trading experience and goals, the result of your age attestation (never your date of birth) and your sanctions attestation.
- Agreement records: which version of each disclosure or policy you accepted, when, and the IP address and browser user agent at the time, so we can show what you agreed to.
- Workspace and trading records: strategies and their versions, risk policies, signals, risk decisions, paper and live orders, fills, positions, balances and kill-switch events.
- AI interactions: prompts you send to AI features and the responses, kept with your other trading records.
- Broker connections, when available: the broker you connect and encrypted access tokens with trade-only permissions. We do not collect broker passwords.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages and features used, log and error data, and cookies or similar technologies described below.
- Communications: messages you send to support and your email preferences.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, precise location, health or biometric data.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: authenticate you, run your strategies, apply risk checks, and show your records.
- To keep an accurate audit trail of trading activity and the agreements you accepted.
- To secure the Service: detect abuse, fraud and market manipulation, and enforce our Terms.
- To comply with legal obligations, including sanctions screening and responding to lawful requests.
- To support and communicate with you about your account, security and changes to the Service.
- To understand and improve the Service using aggregated or de-identified information.
- To send product news, only where you have agreed or where the law allows; you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not use your strategies or trading records to trade for ourselves, and we do not use your personal information to train third-party AI models.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
We process personal information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service (balanced against your rights), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required, for example for non-essential cookies or marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
7. How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account is open. Trading records, risk decisions and agreement records are kept for 6 years after the activity or after your account closes, because they may be needed to resolve disputes, investigate abuse or meet legal obligations. Technical logs are kept for shorter periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, least-privilege credentials, and isolation of strategy execution. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and authorities as the law requires.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
California residents have the rights to know, delete and correct personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it for inferring characteristics), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email contact@yarlis.com. We will verify your identity before acting, respond within the time the law requires, and let you appeal a decision. You may use an authorized agent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Deletion requests may be limited where we must keep records by law, but we will tell you what we keep and why.
10. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers.
11. Automated decisions
Risk checks automatically approve or deny orders based on limits you or your workspace set. They are decisions about orders, not assessments of you, and you can review every decision in your records. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
12. Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
13. Changes to this Policy
We will post any update with its effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect.
